Cardiology Leaders Form Strategic Partnership
The ACC and MedAxiom jointly announced in November 2006 a strategic partnership that will bring the strengths of both organizations to their respective membership groups through sharing expertise on critical subject matters within cardiology, promoting cross-membership relationships and advocacy initiatives, and developing a Leadership Institute within the ACC.
MedAxiom and the ACC will begin immediately promoting each other’s programs and member benefits as well as providing educational content through each partner’s conferences, webcasts, member publications, and web sites. The Leadership Institute will first develop content topics and test and refine the curriculum for a formal launch in early 2007.

The outcomes of these programs will further advance the cardiology field as leaders in healthcare practice management and create an atmosphere of teamwork amongst the industry. - Gaining clarity on the roles: Executive director, managing physicians, CFO, COO
- Identifying, monitoring and managing key practice performance indicators
