MedAxiom Announces the Development of MedXpert A Knowledgebase Portal for its Membership
NEPTUNE BECH, Fla. October 15, 2005 MedAxiom announced the intention for developing a knowledgebase portal, called MedXpert, to expand its offerings to cardiology group practice members. “MedXpert is the essence of on-demand information24-7-365. Practice administrators are constantly seeking information via websites, difficult to find industry-issued material, vendors, and each other through multiple listservs and personal networking. Information from these sources is often untimely or erroneous,” says Jennifer Linville, CEO for MedAxiom. Linville, herself, is a 15-year cardiology practice administrator and former president of the Cardiology Leadership Alliance (CLA).
MedXpert will strive to become the premier resource center for cardiology-related information in the U.S. MedXpert serves as an edited and reviewed warehouse of educational materials, informational articles, pro formas, policies and procedures, and other work related toolsall contributed by industry experts, member practices, and corporate partners.
Joe Sasson, Vice President and product development manager for MedXpert, joined the MedAxiom team with the charge of creating this subscriber-based portal. Dr. Sasson expands, “Dedicated resources will be focused on optimization and clarity of information in all areas of a practice; from the Physicians to Information Technology to Human Resources to Nuclear and CT departments to Customer Service and beyond.” MedXpert will engage its cardiology specific members and become their primary information resource center. MedXpert is an avenue for communicating the latest and greatest in current events, technology, and products to administrators, physicians, and through them, patients.
The target launch date for MedXpert is first quarter 2006. “Although our development timeframe is aggressive, we feel the practices will greatly benefit from this tremendous warehouse of information. We are constantly looking for ways to increase our value proposition with our membership and we feel this will become a valuable asset to the MedAxiom brand,” closes Ms. Linville.
