How Does Your Practice Compare?
Want to know how your practice is doing compared to hundreds of other cardiology practices across the nation? The answers are right at your fingertips with MedAxcess. It allows members to query our extensive data resources on demand. Practices can compare themselves against others on metrics such as:
- Physician productivity for groups with an EMR versus vs. without; with a CT scanner vs. without; with a Cath Lab vs. without; etc.
- Procedure ratios, such as Cath-to-Nuclear ratio or Nuclear-to-Office Encounters ratio
- Procedure volumes (e.g., Nuclear, Echo, Cath, CT)
- Revenue, expense, profit and number of studies
- Per group
- Per camera
- Per physician
- Per procedure
- Physician productivity
- General ledger
- Staffing comparison
- Accounts receivable, and Payer mix
You can also customize your reports based on:
- Group size
- Geographic location
- Services provided (such as CT and Cath Labs)
- Quartile averages to view your data in the context of high and low performing groups
- EMR vs. non-EMR groups
- Physician extender-to-physician ratios
