Q: What do your physicians like most about your practice?
A: Our physicians enjoy the opportunity to provide a work/life balance by focusing on Quality of Care while maintaining a Quality of Life
Q: What do your patients like most about your practice?
A: Our patients like the one patient/one doctor philosophy. This philosophy allows a patient to identify and connect with their cardiologist.
Q: What geographical area do you cover?
A: We serve Central Indiana. Our offices are located within a 40 mile radius of each other through Indianapolis and the surrounding areas.
Q: What services do you provide?
A: We provide the typical services within a cardiology practice such as diagnostic cath, cardiac/peripheral interventions along with a full service EP program. We also have full testing centers inclusive of Nuclear, Echo, Stress Echo and TEEs, Tilt Tables, EECP and a Sleep Lab.
Q: Any new services that you have started to offer that you would be willing to share with everyone (CT, PV services, etc.)
A: We have started over the last 24 months several news services such as T-Wave Alternans, PV Ultrasound, Sleep Lab and Mobile Testing.
Q: What is unique about your practice?
A: Our practice is unique in that we focus on the one patient/one doctor relationship. We believe this sets us apart in the Central Indiana market.
Q: What are your upcoming challenges in the next 12 months and how do you think you’ll conquer them?
A: Our challenges are like many in Cardiology. It is the ability to manage through reimbursement declines, new government regulations on hospital/physician relationships, and the ability to provide state of the art technology while maintaining financial stability to our physicians. We will continue to look for ways to maximize physician's time and resources, decrease costs and develop relationships that will support our current business model.
Q: What do you like best about MedAxiom?
A: I like the ability to meet other colleagues that face very similar issues within the Cardiology practice environment. I like the information that is available via the web (MedAxcess and MedXpert) as well as the conferences that are held throughout the year.
Q: How has MedAxiom impacted your business?
A: MedAxiom has assisted in providing sounds business tools in an unsound environment. It has given our practice access to information and materials that can be used to assist in decision making.
