ACC

ACC
A nonprofit medical society focusing on education, health policy and research.

The American College of Cardiology is a 49,000-member medical society that is the professional home for the entire cardiovascular care team. The ACC leads in the formation of health policy, standards and guidelines. The College operates national registries to measure and improve care, provides professional medical education, disseminates cardiovascular research and bestows credentials upon cardiovascular specialists who meet stringent qualifications.

Since 2006, MedAxiom and the American College of Cardiology have shared expertise on critical subject matters within cardiology, addressed and reported on critical workforce issues, developed and added an administrative educational program to the ACC Annual Scientific Sessions, worked collaboratively on advocacy initiatives, recruited practices for the PINNACLE clinical data collection registry, and have jointly developed and successfully delivered a number of Cardiology Leadership Workshops and educational conferences including the ACC SUMMIT: Thriving in Times of Change.
