Geoffrey A. Rose, MD, FACC, is president of the Sanger Heart and Vascular Institute (SHVI) in North Carolina where he is responsible for the entire service line’s performance, including the divisions of adult cardiology, pediatric cardiology, vascular surgery, thoracic surgery and cardiovascular surgery. Prior to serving as president, he was chief of cardiology at SHVI, a division with over 100 physicians and advanced practice providers, and was responsible for daily operational performance and guiding the division’s strategic direction.
He completed his residency at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and fellowships in the cardiac unit and cardiac ultrasound laboratory at Massachusetts General Hospital.
