Judy Ducsik has served in healthcare for over 20 years. Her expertise and passion involves leading complex matrixed teams through divergent change management to achieve strategic goals and outcomes. Judy’s high energy, collaborative and transformational leadership has fostered success in large academic centers, not-for-profit, and for-profit organizations.

Judy began her career as a nuclear medicine technologist and assumed progressive leadership roles. As a healthcare executive, Judy led operations and strategic development of heart and vascular programs in Texas, Alaska, Washington, and the West Coast. Prior to joining MedAxiom, Judy served as the Executive Director of the Swedish Heart & Vascular Institute. Swedish is a not-for-profit health system, whose services span 5 hospitals, and consists of over 70 Physicians, Advanced Practitioners, and affiliate partners.

Judy’s additional experience consists of operational leadership oversight of University Health System Heart & Vascular Institute in San Antonio, an affiliate of the University of Texas Health Science Center. In this role, she led the development of the Aortic Trauma Program, Pediatric Cardiology, and the design of a new University Health Heart & Vascular Institute, a $55M capital project.

Judy is a proud native of San Antonio, Texas, where she graduated from the University of Incarnate Word with a Bachelor of Science in nuclear medicine. Additionally, she holds a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in healthcare management. Judy is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Business Administration with a specialization in health care management from Walden University.
