MedAxiom is pleased to announce that Denise Busman, MSN, has joined the company as vice president of Care Transformation. In this role, Denise will focus on clinical improvement for the cardiovascular service line and implementing innovative approaches to care that benefit the MedAxiom community. With over 30 years of experience as a cardiovascular clinician and leader, Denise brings a passion for engaging multi-disciplinary teams to enhance clinical quality and transform cardiovascular care.
Denise joins MedAxiom from Spectrum Health, a multi-hospital system in Michigan, where she held a variety of positions including critical care educator and cardiology clinical nurse specialist. During her tenure at Spectrum Health, Denise served as a trusted advisor to cardiovascular physicians and team members.
Denise holds a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Michigan State University and master’s degree in nursing from Grand Valley State University. She has been active with the American College of Cardiology for many years as a Michigan Chapter board member and cardiovascular team liaison, ACC Scientific Program Committee member, and reviewer of scientific abstracts.
