Building a CV Hospitalist Program: Outcomes and Insights From Intermountain Health

Hospital leaders, administrators and providers in acute care face a variety of challenges, including increasing patient complexity, inpatient team models/outpatient specialty access, and transitions of care. Presented in the context of the current state of care models for hospitalized patients, this case study of the Intermountain Health CV Hospitalist Program illustrates how creative care models can address the challenges in acute care.
