Head of Marketing

With a strong track record in healthcare and global consumer brand marketing, Javelyn is a pioneering leader in business strategy, creative and tactical alignment, multicultural engagement and global brand expansion, retail and digital transformation, ventures and partnerships. Prior to joining MedAxiom, Javelyn held positions as a senior consultant to the C-Suite, and as a corporate executive, including Senior Director, Brand and Corporate Marketing at Florida Blue, and head of marketing and creative services at GuideWell. She has successfully led and executed brand repositioning and retail transformation strategies for global brands in healthcare insurance, provider and wellness. Javelyn has experience launching revenue generating spin-off companies, and in-house marketing agencies, leading teams of 58+ marketers, several worldwide client relationships, multicultural engagement strategy, customer journey, digital marketing programs, training, and go-to-market implementation.

At MedAxiom, Javelyn is responsible for the development and implementation of MedAxiom’s brand strategy to support our mission of improving the delivery of cardiovascular healthcare in the United States. As the head of the marketing group, she works closely with MedAxiom’s Membership, Ventures and Consulting teams to create and promote innovative solutions, services and products to our community of members, clients and industry partners.

Javelyn has a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications from Illinois State University, in addition to advertising and graphic design degrees from overseas. She successfully participated in AHIP’s change management program at Kellogg School of Management. Javelyn an alumni from Leadership Jacksonville, serves on boards supporting mental health and economic development.
