Monday, October 5, 2020 | Lori Walsh
MedAxiom will soon kick off our first ever virtual conference! Just like you are rethinking the patient experience in the new normal, MedAxiom is reimagining the CV Transforum experience to continue delivering crucial education and networking opportunities to the MedAxiom community in unprecedented times.
Pre-conference activities start-up Monday, Oct. 5, with Partner Pulse, a lively virtual networking event. Participants will have the opportunity to engage in private, thought-provoking discussions with member and industry leaders. Spanning four nights, Partner Pulse will foster conversation around emerging science, data, technology and other healthcare innovations.
On Thursday Oct. 8, the conference officially begins with welcome remarks from MedAxiom and ACC leadership who will provide an industry outlook, membership updates and more. Following opening remarks, general sessions will begin delving into industry hot topics including:
- Strategic planning in a post-COVID world
- Virtual care strategy
- Financial organization health
After general sessions, Thursday afternoon is filled with intimate breakout sessions that take a deep dive into cardiovascular challenges. The day will end with a virtual social hour where attendees can connect with colleagues from across the country over live music by Chris Martinez who has entertained us at in-person CV Transforum conferences for many years.
Friday’s line-up features six general sessions diving further into today’s top of mind issues. Hear from experts as they discuss breakthrough innovations in telehealth, best practices for pandemic recovery, CMS guidance and more. Friday will also include MedAxiom member exclusive Pod sessions designed to share best practices with peers.
The final day of the conference will include five breakout sessions including an advanced practice provider (APP) mini-intensive, where APP leaders will review their leadership journeys and share knowledge directly through a Q&A.
