Throughout the CV Transforum Fall’19 healthcare innovation was in the spotlight – whether it was the content shared during dynamic presentations or discussions between attendees and partners in the exhibit hall and hallways. Given rapid changes in CV healthcare, we’re all looking for smart solutions that can help improve care delivery and patient outcomes. With the healthcare innovation space evolving every day, MedAxiom aims to keep members apprised of the solutions that will help them move the needle.
I am always excited at CV Transforum conference time watching the MedAxiom community come together with one united purpose: transforming cardiovascular care. We know that bringing people together from industry and CV programs will open new opportunities to do just that, and CV Transforum is the catalyst. During our Fall conference in October, we saw the highest amount of Industry Partner participation in recent years. That includes partners that attended as exhibitors, session speakers, conference sponsors and pre-conference Partner Pulse participants. From our seasoned partners to our newly announced partners, there was diverse representation of expertise and solutions – ranging from imaging and pharmaceutical companies to EMR/IT and analytics companies – that can benefit organizations of all sizes.
Transforming CV Care, Together
Just ahead of the conference, dozens of MedAxiom members and partners gathered on the Grand Lawn of the Monarch Beach Resort for Partner Pulse, an afternoon of speed networking to discuss challenges faced by CV programs, healthcare technologies, and emerging solutions. This unique event is always a favorite of CV Transforum attendees as it provides members withvaluable insight into the latest CV innovations, and partners an opportunity to learn from CV leaders who are driving care forward. We are always amazed to see all the innovation our partners bring to the conferences, but also the feedback they are able to come away with to better serve our members and the entire CV industry.
This year’s exhibit hall was buzzing with 34 companies showcasing their cutting-edge technology and service-oriented solutions. The involvement is essential to keep our CV programs in the loop on strategies that can solve their problems and immediately improve their organizations. There were many opportunities for meaningful conversations throughout the conference and we are always looking for ways to offer more time for industry and members to connect both during events and beyond. If you have thoughts on how to better create this bi-directional exchange, please let us know!
Bring on the Innovation
As we heard during the State of Cardiology presentation, the current culture favors innovators and problem-solvers. From technology advances, to program optimization, to value-based care models, and enabling easier access to care - our members need to know where to get answers and how to get connected with the right people. That is where our industry partners shine, by answering practice-specific questions and offering proven solutions. Being a part of MedAxiom is about contributing to a community, and our relationships with partners cover a diverse array of healthcare categories which are always expanding. So far this year, we have partnered with seven new organizations that provide services focused on improving patient testing and monitoring, managing high-quality medical office facilities, improving clinical and financial performance through analytics, and more.
Keeping you connected to the right solutions and service providers is one of our top priorities. We will always communicate when we add new partners and when our partners have new offerings that may address the challenges you are facing.
Success stories are important as we move forward. Feel free to reach out to me to share yours with us, or if you need assistance getting in touch with the right product / person to help advance your program. As always, we are here to help.
