This 12-week course is designed for new cardiovascular (CV) nursing staff working in general cardiology ambulatory practices, nurses new to CV ambulatory nursing, or general nursing staff who wish to expand their CV knowledge. MedAxiom's RN expert Jenny Kennedy leads the course and features imaging expert Jaime Warren, vice president of Care Transformation Services at MedAxiom, as a guest instructor. The course incorporates video, textbook and online learning to cover these essential CVRN topics:

For RNs: This curriculum is designed to help new RNs or RNs new to ambulatory CV practice immerse themselves in clinical cardiology– to understand what they are experiencing in the clinics and provide a didactic review of the pathophysiology, symptoms, diagnosis and clinical decision making.
For Employers or Leaders of RNs: This curriculum will help jump-start and support your RNs' on-the-job learning and quantitatively improve their level of competency.
