Description

As FFRCT (CPT® 75580) becomes a foundational element of cardiac computed tomography angiography (CCTA) programs and the use of AI-Coronary Plaque Analysis (AI-CPA) (CPT® 0623T–0626T) continues to expand, cardiovascular programs must adapt their billing, coding and operational workflows to support accurate and optimized reimbursement. In 2024, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) implemented several important updates to revenue coding related to CCTA and fractional flow reserve computed tomography (FFRCT), underscoring the need for timely adjustments to ensure long-term reimbursement stability for these services.

This session delivers actionable strategies to strengthen revenue integrity across the care continuum for teams delivering and supporting CTA programs including, FFRCT and AI-CPA. Attendees will gain a comprehensive understanding of appropriate code usage, payer coverage criteria, and revenue code assignment, while learning how to identify and address common issues in charge capture, charge master configuration, and payer alignment.

Designed for cardiovascular service line leaders, revenue cycle teams, and coding professionals, this session prepares participants to proactively manage the financial and compliance intricacies associated with CCTA and Heartflow’s FFRCT and AI-Plaque Analysis.
