Larry Sobal, MBA, MHA, FACMPE, is CEO of the Heart and Vascular Institute of Wisconsin, a free-standing independent cardiovascular facility and practice that unwound its employment from a local health system in April 2019 and returned to independence. 

Sobal has more than 35 years of experience in medical group leadership, hospital leadership, insurance and consulting. He has served on the ACC’s Health Affairs Committee and CV Management Publications Committee, and MedAxiom’s Advisory Council.

Sobal earned dual master’s degrees from Washington University in St. Louis including a Master of Health Administration and Planning from the School of Medicine and a Master of Business Administration from the School of Business. He is also a Fellow of the American College of Medical Practice Executives.
