As Director of Coding, Revenue Cycle Solutions, Jammie applies her 15 years of diverse experience in medical coding, medical auditing, business administration, relationship management and customer service. She is committed to continuously seeking educational opportunities and achieving relevant certifications and proficiencies in all aspects of medical billing, coding and compliance to support MedAxiom’s membership.

Before joining MedAxiom in 2016, Jammie worked at Baptist Heart Specialists in Jacksonville as the lead coder and educator. She performed daily claim audits and reviews of clinical documents, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and maintaining quality assurance. She also provided physician and staff compliance training sessions. Jammie was responsible for the training and implementation of the ICD-10 transition for all providers, NPPs and staff members. She also was responsible for the coding and training for hospital procedures including cardiac catheterizations, coronary interventions, peripheral diagnostic procedures and interventions, electrophysiology studies and ablations, and device implants.

Jammie graduated from Everest University in Port Orchard, Washington a medical billing and coding certificate in 2006. She is a member of the American Academy of Professional Coders and the American Health Information Management Association.
