As the Manager, Surgery Coding Revenue Cycle Solutions at MedAxiom, Joline is an educator who authors coding education webinars and courses, provides on-site education to physicians and coders, and performs audits for proper documentation and coding.

Joline has worked in healthcare administration for over 15 years in several specialty areas, including cardiology, cardiothoracic surgery, vascular surgery, supervising, and consulting for coding and compliance. Before joining the MedAxiom team, Joline served as a coding supervisor for HeartCare Midwest, a practice of 46 providers, and was the lead educator for the cardiovascular service line for OSF Healthcare. She has provided procedure and evaluation and management audits, reporting, and physician and staff compliance education sessions. She co-authored the Cardiovascular Thoracic Surgery Coding Specialty exam for the American Academy of Professional Coders. Additionally, Joline served over eight years on active duty with the U.S. Navy and five years with the U.S. Navy Reserves.

Joline holds associate degrees in general science and arts and liberal science. She is a member of the American Academy of Professional Coders and holds certifications in Professional Coding, Professional Medical Auditing, Cardiovascular Thoracic Surgery and General Surgery.
