As Executive Vice President of Revenue Cycle Solutions and Care Transformation Services at MedAxiom, Nicole Knight provides strategic guidance to cardiovascular programs nationwide, focusing on revenue integrity, operational performance and the integration of emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI) in healthcare. She leads MedAxiom’s Revenue Cycle Solutions and Care Transformation Services teams to help organizations optimize outcomes and streamline operations through LEAN process improvement, data-driven decision-making, and sustainable financial and clinical alignment.

Nicole brings over 30 years of healthcare leadership experience across cardiovascular and neurology practice operations, clinical management, business office management and consulting. Her expertise includes leveraging AI and automation to transform revenue cycle operations, improve coding accuracy, and reduce administrative burden in cardiovascular care.

Before joining MedAxiom, Nicole served as practice administrator for Baptist Neurology and Northeast Florida Cardiology and as director of operations for Jacksonville Heart Center and Louisiana Cardiology Associates. She is nationally recognized for her expertise in coding, compliance and education across multiple specialties and has delivered nationwide physician and staff education sessions on revenue integrity strategies.

Nicole began her career as a licensed practical nurse, which continues to shape her approach to healthcare leadership and operational excellence. She has completed extensive coursework toward a Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Administration and holds certifications through the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC), the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA), and the Board of Medical Specialty Coding. She is an AHIMA-certified ICD-10-CM trainer, has completed LEAN Healthcare training, and is advancing her expertise through Johns Hopkins University’s AI in Healthcare program.

Nicole has served on AHIMA’s Physician Practice Council and participates in the ACC Coding Work Group, contributing to national dialogue on revenue cycle, compliance, and coding best practices.
