MedAxiom Names 2026 Board of Managers Chair and Welcomes New Board Members

MedAxiom is pleased to introduce its 2026 Board of Managers (BOM), including the new chair, Joseph E. Marine, MD, MBA, FACC, a cardiologist specializing in arrhythmia care who practices at the Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD. Marine has served as a BOM member since 2022. 

Marine is a professor of Medicine at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and holds appointments as vice director of Operations in the Division of Cardiology and section chief of Cardiology for Johns Hopkins Community Physicians.

Toniya Singh, MD, FACC, an invasive cardiologist and partner at St. Louis Heart and Vascular in St. Louis, MO, and Thomas A. Draper, MBA, MAACVPR, FACC, vice president of Administrative Lead Clinical Service Lines and the Center for Cardiovascular Care at Wellstar Health System in Marietta, GA, have also joined the Board. 

The following leaders will continue to serve on the BOM: 

• Michele Frymoyer, MHA, MedStar Health
• Samuel O. Jones, MD, MPH, FACC, Memorial Hospital for Chattanooga Heart Institute
• Akshay K. Khandelwal, MD, MBA, FACC, Allegheny Health Network 
• Larry Sobal, MBA, MHA, FACMPE, Heart and Vascular Institute of Wisconsin

MedAxiom’s Board is composed of a diverse group of dyad leaders from programs spanning independent practices to large, integrated health systems.
