Milestone's lead product, CARDAMYST® (etripamil) nasal spray, is the first U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA)-approved new chemical entity specifically designed for patient self-administration to convert acute symptomatic episodes of paroxysmal supraventricular tachycardia (PSVT) to sinus rhythm outside of the healthcare setting. By enabling appropriately selected patients to treat episodes when they occur, CARDAMYST offers a new approach to managing PSVT while helping reduce reliance on emergency department (ED) care. Milestone is also developing etripamil for the treatment of symptomatic episodic attacks associated with atrial fibrillation with rapid ventricular response (AF-RVR).

Milestone was founded to address a longstanding challenge in cardiovascular medicine by enabling patients with PSVT to safely manage acute episodes without relying on ED visits or invasive procedures. Clinical studies demonstrated a median time to conversion to normal sinus rhythm of 17 minutes with CARDAMYST compared with 54 minutes for placebo, with treatment effects that can be observed as early as five minutes. Published research has also shown a 39% relative reduction in ED visits among patients using CARDAMYST, highlighting its potential to improve patient access to timely treatment while reducing healthcare utilization.
