MedAxiom is proud to provide its membership with the Cardiovascular Care Reemergence Playbook, designed to help you navigate the new normal created by the COVID-19 pandemic. This playbook provides expert guidance from MedAxiom coupled with resources from government, societies, trade groups, industry and MedAxiom members. The goal is to provide you the latest information in a single, interactive and easy to use platform. Over time we will build out resources at every level of the cardiovascular care spectrum. Check back frequently for the most current information and resources.

COVID-19 has impacted the entire U.S. healthcare system and all MedAxiom members, but in very different ways. In some areas there is a high number of coronavirus patients that are taxing medical staff, hospital beds, ventilators and other critical resources. In other areas there have been little or even no virus cases, yet quarantines and other restrictions have had profound effects on cardiovascular organizations, clinically and operationally. Across the board there have been devastating consequences to financial performance, all too often leading to staff furloughs or layoffs. Whether from the virus itself or the efforts made to control it, everyone has been impacted. This playbook provides specific guidance to both extremes and everything in between.

Likewise, the reemergence from COVID-19 will also be disparate as different states and regions open back up at different times and cadence. MedAxiom recognizes how difficult and complicated this process is, and that we must do it safely. The stakes are high for getting this right: both for patients and also the financial viability of cardiovascular organizations.

In everything we do for our members, we try to deliver "concierge" services tailored to individual groups and situations. Now more than ever time is precious which is why every attempt has been made to make this playbook intuitive so you can find what you're looking for quickly and easily. Additionally, we will make new content – which will be added regularly - easy to identify so you’ll know where you left off last time.

If you need more than these online resources can provide, MedAxiom has cardiovascular experts that can give tailored assistance.
