Optimization of Telehealth at Virginia Cardiovascular Specialists

Wednesday, August 5, 2020, 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm

Register

Speakers:

  • Patrick Toomey, Assistant Administrator, Virginia Cardiovascular Specialists
  • Joe Sasson, Executive Vice President, MedAxiom Ventures

COVID-19 marked the end of business as usual. In mid-March, Virginia Cardiovascular Specialists (VCS) experienced an approximately 80 percent drop in return patient and non-urgent patient visits. After CMS lifted burdensome Telehealth regulations, VCS decided to implement NextGen Virtual Visits, with the integration process completed in three days.

Join us for a conversation with Patrick Toomey, assistant administrator at VCS, and Joe Sasson, EVP of MedAxiom Ventures. Patrick and Joe will talk about the sudden adoption of virtual visits—including changes in process, workflows, staffing, provider/patient experience, revenue, and billing. During this interactive discussion, the speakers will gladly answer any questions.

*No CEUs will be offered for this webinar.
